Mr. James Anthony “Tony” Knott of Campbellsville was born on January 8, 1980 in Louisville. He departed this life on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at his home, being 38 years, 8 months, and 19 days of age. Mr. Knott had battled several health issues most of his life, but he never let them slow his love for his family and friends.

He loved spending time with those closest to him, and enjoyed the outdoors whenever possible. He leaves to mourn his passing: His fiancée: April O’Neill of Campbellsville, Five chosen children: Kristopher Releford, Sierra Releford, Jacob Releford, Payton Releford, and Jonathan Releford, all of Campbellsville, A close cousin: Sarah Knott of Louisville, A cousin he loved as a niece: Ali Knott, And a host of extended family and special friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emily Kathleen Knott, and his grandmother, Francis Louise Cobb Knott.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Knott on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY. Mr. Knott’s request to be cremated will be accorded him after the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept.
