Obituary for Melvin Salsman Melvin R. Salsman of Louisville, son of the late Henry Salsman and Agnes Matherly Salsman, was born July 9, 1931, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 7:01A.M., Friday, September 14, 2018 in Louisville. Age: 87 Melvin proudly served his country in the United States Army having served in Korea.

He was a retired from GE where he was a manager of information systems. He united in marriage to Barbara Parson April 28, 1926. Besides his wife, Barbara Parson Salsman he is survived by three sisters-n-law: Marilyn Salsman of Campbellsville, Jackie and husband, Billy Coffey of Adair County, Darlene and husband, J.R. Bishop of Green County; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers: Thomas Eugene Salsman, Billy Joe Salsman and David O. Salsman.
