Maple E. Ingraham, 97, of Coudersport, passed away, Monday, June 4, 2018, at UPMC Cole, Coudersport. She was born on June 8, 1920 in Westfield, the daughter of the late Ivan and Albertine (King) Rushmore. Maple married Bill Ingraham who preceded her in death in 1965.

Maple was a graduate of Westfield School. She retired from Smith of Galeton Gloves in 1982 after 18 years of service. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting and her beloved family farm.

Maple is survived by four daughters, Barrie Magglioco of Callaway, VA; Patricia and Frits Rushmore Den Hertog of Callaway, VA; Carol McPherson of Westfield; Dawnette and Randy Deiter of Coudersport; two sons, Terry McCloskey of Westfield; Robert Wood of North Richland Hills, TX; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Maple was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samantha Deiter and two sisters, Jean Hilboldt and Norma Crane In keeping with Maple’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Memorial donations in Maple’s name may be made to the Galeton Public Library, 5 Park Lane, Galeton, PA 16922.
