Obituary for Marc Lowy Marc Alan Lowy passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 10, 2018. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, on February 27, 1945. Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Esther P. Lowy.

Marc is survived by his wife, Carol Lowy; daughter, Lauren (Brian) Miller; sons Steven (Jusilene) Lowy and Jeffrey Lowy; grandchildren Alexis and Zachary Miller; brother, Louis Lowy and sister, Joyce (Joseph) DiRienzi. He graduated from Bexley High School. Marc enjoyed a variety of hobbies including drag racing, stamp collecting, bicycle and motorcycle riding, autocross racing and dog training.

Of these, he was the most passionate about training his dogs for agility. Marc was a member of Golden Retriever Club of Columbus, Ohio, the Golden Retriever Club of America and the Columbus All Breed Training Club. He volunteered to work at many dog events and also taught obedience.

As someone who spent a lot of time driving, Marc enjoyed listening to books on tape. Marc worked for the family business of Louis R. Polster for over 50 years. He greatly valued his friends as well as his family.

Marc will be well remembered and loved for his willingness to give compliments and his generosity. Funeral Service 1 p.m. Sunday, May 13, 2018 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St, with Rabbi Alex Braver and Cantor Jack Chomsky officiating. Burial to follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way.
