MARGARET’s Obituary Margaret Ann Moss, 91, formerly of Severna Park, MD, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2019. Born in Washington, DC on November 19, 1927 to Margaret Rose Albert and Charles Wilkinson. Margaret died peacefully from natural causes surrounded by family.

She was a friend to everyone she met, a master “hugger” and loved by all. A devout Catholic, she attended St. John’s the Evangelist Church in Severna Park for over 40 years. Upon moving to Satellite Beach, FL.

, she joined the South Patrick Chapel and became an usher and then an acolyte serving communion. Margaret was the wife of Donald W. Moss (deceased). They were married for 62 years.

She was the catalyst to the Moss family. In her quiet, reserved, and unassuming manner, she set the gold standard for being a gracious, welcoming, and caring mother and mother in-law. She raised seven children; Veronica “Nikki” Pfeiffer, Donna Person, Mary “Gina” Johnson, David Moss, Kathleen “Kathy” Meckley, Linda Cullen and Susan “Suzi” West.

She was lovingly called Babe-o by her 13 grandchildren: Randy Bicks, Tara Robisson, Jennifer McCool-Hill, Melanie Levy, Elizabeth Forgione, Finn McCool, Jimi Cullen, Ryan Cullen, Jason Meckley, Lawrence West, III, Daniel Meckley, Jamie West-Sardo, and Chelsea Moss-Lamarca. Margaret was an endearing great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren. Throughout Donald’s Naval career, they resided in D.C., Falls Church, VA.

, Camp Zama Naval Base, Japan, and Cheltenham, England. Then together they ran a successful real estate company in Odenton, Maryland. They enjoyed living at their oceanfront homes during their retirement years both at Ocean City, MD and Satellite Beach, Fl.

before Margaret moved to Vero Beach, FL. Margaret is survived by her loving sisters-in-law, Juanita Moss of Illinois and Marion Wilkinson of Maryland, and by many nieces and nephews. The visitation will take place at Strunk Funeral Home in Sebastian, FL on Wednesday, January 30th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a Prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. The family will be celebrating her life at St. Sebastian Catholic Church on Rt.

1 in Sebastian, FL on Thursday, January 31st at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception in LeSage Hall immediately following Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Arrangements are entrusted to Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL.
