Obituary for Margaret Anne Martin Marshall Margaret Anne Martin Marshall of Memphis, TN, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018. A graduate of Blessed Sacrament School, Catholic High School and Memphis State College, Mrs. Marshall worked as a chemist for Quaker Oats Company. She was later a homemaker and volunteered with the Ave Maria Guild, the St. Michael Altar Society, and the Philomena Guild among other organizations.

Her husband of 62 years, Robert W. Marshall, preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by two sons, Reverend Robert W. Marshall, Jr. of Memphis and Patrick M. Marshall (Cheryl) of Chino Hills, CA; by two grandchildren, Caroline Anne Marshall and William F. Marshall (active duty USN); by a brother, Mike Martin, and by many nieces and nephews including Janet M. Quinn who helped to care for her. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1695 Central Avenue, with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, at 10 a.m., also at the Cathedral.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ave Maria Home, St. Michael Catholic Church, or Immaculate Conception Cathedral School.
