Margaret E “Betty” Brown, 74, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, December 10th, at home. She was the husband of Paul E. Brown. Margaret was born in Oneida, NY on April 1, 1944, a daughter of the late Ethel (Harrington) and Robert Hague.

She had formerly worked for PTC Aerospace, B&D in Canaan, Allstar Transportation and most recently Kids Play Museum In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Gary Lewis and wife Sheryl of Torrington, Paul Brown Jr and wife Dawn of Litchfield, and James Brown and wife Christine of Torrington and daughters Shannon Lewis of Warren, Peggy Monat of Torrington, Jaunita Stella and husband Joseph of Harwinton and Veronica Fisher of Torrington, 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves brothers John, James and Edward Hague and a sister Lois Sisko, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Patrick Hague.

The family will receive relatives and friends 11:00:00 to 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 15th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington. www.
