She was married in Boonton, NJ on April 19, 1941 to Michael Czahlo of Montville, NJ.

They have 1 child, Michele Ellen Czahlo Whitehead (Walter C. Whitehead) of Kaysville, UT. Margaret is also survived by her grandchildren, Kim Whitehead Tolbert and Walter Whitehead Jr. (Devende Falen Whitehead), great grandchildren, Ashley Tolbert Hansen (Matthew Hansen), Colton Tolbert, Logan “LT” Tolbert, Darli Tolbert, Alivia Ellen Whitehead, Alexabella Whitehead and Eden Whitehead as well as great, great, grandchildren, Elle Kade Casto, Carter Hansen and Clare Margaret Hansen. Having survived the Great Depression, Margaret made her contribution to the World War II effort by making flame throwers, she would still consider her family her greatest accomplishment.
