Obituary for Margaret H. Phillips Margaret Phillips, age 78 of Houston entered into eternal rest on June 26, 2018. She was born on October 17, 1939 to Chris Losolla and Frances Hernandez in Houston, TX. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Frances Losolla; her sister, Ann Velasquez and brother-in-law, Ray Velasquez.

She is survived by her loving family which includes her two daughters, Patricia Palacios Ware (husband, Tim) and Yvonne Mejia; her son, Roy “DJ Scorpion” Phillips; nephew, Ray Velasquez (wife, Susan); two granddaughters, Celeste Fuentes (Raul Calix) and Theresa Mejia; two great-grandsons, Raul Tomas Calix III and Vicente Calix and a two very close friends, Rene “DJ Lumbre” Gonzalez and LUPE Gomez. Margaret loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. She was a longtime resident of Northside and Denver Harbor.

Margaret was always witty, and loved music (especially Elvis) and loved to dance. One thing Margaret always looked forward was to the monthly social at the Salvation Army. Visitation will be held Monday, July 2, 2018, 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.

A Evening Service will begin at 7:00 pm. Cremation will take place at a later date. All services are under the care of Morales Funeral Home.
