Obituary for Margaret Larsen Print Margaret Larsen, 96, of Cheyenne passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Davis Hospice Center. Margaret was born May 8, 1922 in Bill, Wyoming, daughter of the late Louis and Lydia Federer. As a young woman, Margaret worked as a babysitter and took in ironing.

Her love for children led to her serving as the Director of Kiddie College Day Care and later for Small World Day Care. She also worked for Community Based Occupational Education. Her many interests included enjoying all styles of music and hosting countless parties.

She was also a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene. Margaret is survived by five children, George Larsen, Dick (Linda) Larsen, Joyce Staley, Patsy Wrede and Susie (Jeff) Knickerbocker; brother, Harris Federer; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion Larsen; and children, Marva and Paul.

A memory service will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Schrader Reception Center. Donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to Davis Hospice Center or charity of choice.
