Margaret “Marge”Ann Griffin, age 100, formerly of Maumee, OH, passed into the presence of her Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on August 6, 1918 to Stanley and Catherine (Lewandowski) Rucki in Toledo. Marge and her husband, “Griff”, were the owners of Academy Plumbing & Heating.

She was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church. Marge was also a homemaker, seamstress, wonderful cook, the heart of her family, and she had a style like no other. Marge was the sweetest, kindest, extremely generous, and the most loving person whom was always there in anyone’s time of need.

She cherished her family and loved to feed them. There are not enough words to express who she was, all she did, and all the lives she touched. Marge will be sadly missed by her sons, Neil, Owen (Haiyan), and Peter Griffin; daughter, Camille Herold; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles “Griff”; her parents; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; and 1 granddaughter. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m., at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 with prayers in the mortuary at 10:00a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Church at 10:30a.m. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
