Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” O’Haire, age 92, of Grand Haven passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at Christian Haven Home. She was born February 7, 1927 in New York City to Joseph and Anna (McCarthy) Martin. On June 4, 1949 she married John O’Haire and he preceded her in death on January 5, 1998.

Peggy was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church, where she delivered communion to nursing homes and hospitals and was very active in different bible studies. She enjoyed boating, swimming and reading, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three children: John (Mary) O’Haire of Rhinebeck, NY, Margaret Ann O’Haire of Greenwich, CT, and Joann (Roy) Hanson of Spring Lake; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Eugene, Richard, and Joseph. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 3-5 PM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave. ) Interment will take place in Lake Forest Cemetery. Memorial contribution in memory of Peggy may be given to Christian Haven Home.
