Obituary for Margie Scott Margie Scott, was born on June 23, 1923 in Alva, Oklahoma. She passed away on July 25, 2018 in Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Rex Scott.

Whenever we think of Margie we will remember her warmth. The kind of warmth that made everyone feel welcome and safe. A warmth that enveloped and embraced us.

A warmth that let us know something delicious was in the oven. A warmth that will continue to bring us joy and gladness. Survivors include her son, Mark Scott (Alison); daughters, Sharon Matthews and Linda Knupp (Dan); four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 South Seneca Street, Wichita, KS. Interment at Douglass Cemetery, Douglass, Kansas. Donations in her memory may be made to the Manhattan Public Library, 629 Poyntz, Avenue, Manhattan, KS 66502.
