69, of Wakefield, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Paul Boccanfuso. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late George E., Sr. and Angelina L. (Delsanto) Sousa.

Marguerite worked for the City of Providence for many years before her retirement. She was the first female CDL Driver for the City of Providence. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She loved to cook, bake, and was also a member of the Local Union 1033. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Brandy Costa and her husband Spain of North Providence, Paula Chirichella and her husband John P., Sr. of North Providence, and Dana Seegulam and her husband Anthony of Winter Garden, FL; cherished grandchildren Paul Seegulam, Andrew Seegulam, John P. Chirichella, Jr., Anthony Costa, Nolan Costa, and the late Elizabeth Seegulam; dear siblings George E. Sousa II, John Sousa, Robert Sousa, Dennis Sousa, Linda L. Schaad, Lorie Fortune, Georgianna Sousa, and the late William J. Sousa. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave.

, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
