Obituary of Maria Dos Santos Esteves Maria Esteves, aka Maria dos Santos Pires Goncalves, passed away on September 3rd, 2018 while surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born on February 3rd, 1941 in Folgosinho, Portugal to the late Maria do Carmo Pires and Manuel Goncalves Esteves. She lived in Elizabeth before movingto Danbury in 1996.

She is predeceased by her beloved husband Manuel Jose Brazete Esteves. Maria is survived by her two daughters Ana-Bela Esteves (spouse Joao M. Da Cruz), and Maria Regina Rocha of Portugal. As well as her sister Eulalia Batista, and two brothers Antonio Augusto Pires Goncalves and Albino Goncalves.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charities of choice. Visitation on Wednesday September 5, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South St Danbury, CT). and Thursday September 6, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at August F Schmidt Memorial Funeral Home – 139 Westfield Ave, Elizabeth, NJ.

Funeral Mass Friday at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church at 9 AM. Burial to follow at Rosedale Cemetery Linden.
