Obituary for Maria Julieta Couvillion Maria Julieta Couvillion, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 22 years, Edgar T. Couvillion Sr.; her parents, Victor and Bartola Flores. She is the loving mother of Edgar T. Couvillion Jr., Julie Couvillion, and Geraldine Couvillion.

She is also survived by her niece, Michelle Couvillion Tracey (Louis); numerous other nieces, nephews, other family and friends. An avid world -wide traveler, she was an active parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church and was involved in the Christ the King Womans Club and the St. Vincent De Paul Society. A wonderful wife and mother, Maria was passionate about spending time with her loving family.

She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM all held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Road, Terrytown, LA. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.

In lieu of flowers the family welcomes donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Christ the King Catholic Church. Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA. in charge of arrangements.
