Maria Socorro Vega, 82, beloved mother of the late Pedro, Ronald and Mildred Velasquez, passed away on Monday, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Angel Vega and Petrolinda de Jesus. Maria had previously lived in North Carolina and moved to Woonsocket about 8 years ago.

she has lived in Central Falls for the last 2 years. She is survived by 2 sons, Jose Delgado of California and Jaime Velasquez of No. Carolina; 4 daughters, Arlene Cantoral, Sonia Delgado, Adelida Cantoral and Vilma Castillo al of Central Falls and Edna Velasquez of Woonsocket.

She also leaves 46 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchidren. CALLING HOURS, Friday Evening, 6 until 8 PM in the Coelho Funeral Home, Central; Falls. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 11 AM in the Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
