She retired from Lynchburg General Hospital Orthopedic Unit. Marian leaves behind to cherish her memory one devoted daughter, Valerie Spencer Robinson, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1303 Mount Zion Road, Red House, VA 23959. Her remains will be open to the public one hour prior to the service at the church. Family and friends will assemble at the church.
