OBITUARY MARIANNA F CATTANO January 2, 1930 – September 6, 2018 Marianna F. (LoCurto) Cattano, age 88 of Sandwich, passed away on Thursday, September 06, 2018 in Bourne Manor. Born in Sicily, Italy a daughter of the late Leo and Marianna (Moscato) LoCurto, she was a long time Sandwich resident. She attended school in Italy and later she was seamstress for 30 years.

Marianna loved her family, listening to music and going to the beach. Marianna did not have any children but she adored her grand niece’s & nephew (Julianna, JJ & Jade) and loved them as if they were her own. During her many years as a talented seamstress, she was responsible for creating the many costumes that were worn on Broadway.

Marianna is survived by a sister, Victoria Chiarenza of New York; a niece, Maria Ferguson and her husband Michael of Sandwich; a nephew, Charles Petralia of Sandwich. She was the sister of the late Josephine Pito, Francesca Alomia, Concetta Fiorenza and Liboria LoCurto. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:30AM in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A, Sandwich followed by a funeral mass at 10:00AM in Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Road, E. Sandwich.

Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation prior from 8:00AM to 10:30AM. Burial Sandwich Town Cemetery.
