Marianne Cecelia Ludwig age 79 of Orlando, Florida, passed away January 25, 2019. She was born February 18, 1939 in Sanford, Florida and grew up in a loving family, the daughter of the late John and Irene (Brandt) Ludwig. Marianne was a exceptional Registered Nurse, starting out at Sanford Hospital, she moved to Orlando, working in Emergency Room and recovery room for Orange Memorial Hospital, now known as Orlando Regional Medical Center, and private duty nursing prior to her retirement.

A devoted sister and aunt, Mimi livened up any gathering with her funny stories and jokes. She enjoyed her cat Sydney, the beach, making people laugh, spending time with family, and cultivating lifetime friendships. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers John J., and James A. Ludwig.

She is survived by her sister Constance Ludwig Clarke, sister-in-law Joan Ludwig, nephews Gregg Clarke, Matthew Clarke, John J. Ludwig, Jr. and children, nieces Victoria Clarke, Shelley Clarke Stoll, Meredith Ludwig Curtis, Julia Ludwig Emerson, Mary Elizabeth Ludwig Akers, Carol Ludwig Fickes. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews Greta, Julian Clarke, Summer, Jack Stoll, Cassidy, Carli, Cortney Fickes, Michael Akers, Katie-Beth Nolette, Jenny-Rose Spaudo, Julianna, Sarah Joy, James Curtis, Lauren, Zachary, Abigail Ludwig, two great-great nephews, and one great great niece. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Gramkow Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, Sanford, Florida. Arrangements entrusted to GRAMKOW FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 500 E. Airport Blvd.
