MARICRUZ (DELATORRE B.) LENHART, 51, from Middleton, Idaho, died along with her son, Charles on Sunday June 3, 2018 in a car accident near Jerome, Idaho. Maricruz was born on March 21, 1967 in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico. She earned a B.A. in Teaching from Idaho State University in 1991 and a M.A. in English as a Second Language from Boise State University.

She had been a teacher for the Pocatello, Boise, Middleton, Vallivue, Wilder and Ontario School Districts. She had also worked for Boise State University and for Idaho Digital Learning Academy. Maricruz was a beautiful and special daughter and mother of two.

She was beloved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her mother Imelda Baustista Baca, daughter Rosana Shirley Ann Lenhart, brothers Francisco Delatorre, Cezar Delatorre, Ernesto Delatorre and sister Rosana Delatorre. The family suggest that memorial contributions in memory of Maricruz be made to the Canyon Springs Christian Church, 1444 Cornell St., Middleton, ID 83644.

A Celebration of Life Service to honor the lives of Maricruz and Charles will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Canyon Springs Christian Church, 1444 Cornell St., Middleton, Idaho. Interment for Charles will follow at the Middleton Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave.
