Marie C. Prater, 91, of Kodak, TN, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Marie was born in Hiawatha W.Va. on July 25, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Cora Mae Scott Caudill.

Marie is preceded in death by the parents who raised her, Cora Mae and Thurman Dickerson, Sr.; grandson, Dwayne Murphy; sisters, Lilly Cooper and Josephine Thompson; and her brother, Owen Caudill. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:30 AM-12 PM, Saturday, January 12th at Mountain Brook Village, 700 Markhill Dr., Sevierville, TN 37862 with Rev. Glenn Shiflett officiating. Cremation arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
