Marie K. Yorks, 36, of Berwick passed away August 29, 2018 at her residence. She was born November 17, 1981 a daughter of Warren Yorks Jr. and Carolyn M. “Martin” Yorks both of Berwick. She graduated from Berwick High School in 2002.

She enjoyed camping, going to the lake swimming, and drawing. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her son. She was preceded in death by a brother Donald Yorks.

In addition to her parents she is survived by a son, Anthony James Donald Yorks, two brothers; Shane Yorks and his wife Angelica and Ronald Yorks, and four sisters; Roseanne Simons and son DeSean, Carrie Simons, Barbara Ann Yorks and Glenda Swank all of Berwick. A memorial service will be Friday, September 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 1024 North Market St. Berwick, Pa 18603 with Father Michael Demko of Holy Annuciation Orthodox Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Family and friends may send condolences at www. jameslhinkcleyjrfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses. Marie’s favorite color was purple and Anthony would like everyone to wear purple to the memorial service in his mom’s memory.
