Marilyn Bingham Pantone Priest April 20, 1943 ~ May 20, 2019 Marilyn Bingham passed away peacefully in her home on May 20, 2019 in Riverdale, Utah. She was born on April 20, 1943 in Ogden, Utah. As the daughter of Delos and Marci Bingham she grew up in Marriott-Slaterville, Utah.

Her childhood was filled with joy surrounded by many friends and family. She loved her extended family and looked forward to reunions every year. She loved spending time at her childhood home.

Many hours were spent in her Daddy’s garden picking peas, tomatoes, and corn as well as sniping buckets of beans and playing in the irrigation water. She met her lifelong best friend, Marilyn Toone, early in life. They were partners in crime, spoke on the phone daily, and were always there for each other.

She graduated from Weber High School with great accomplishments and was highly esteemed by her peers. She was the senior class vice president and Homecoming queen at Weber High School, as well as Freshman Queen and a member of the drill team at Weber State College. She loved being evolved.

After graduating from Beauty School, she opened and co-owned the Chalet Beauty Salon on Washington Blvd. There, she began a career that lasted 47 years. She later moved her salon to her home to allow her to raise her four children as a single mother.

She finished her lifelong career as a dedicated beautician, working long hours each day to support her children. She developed many wonderful friendships over the years that meant the world to her. Her clients became her Family.

Her favorite activities included shopping, going to lunch, and finding a treasure at yard sales. She saw potential in everything. Yearly camping at Grey’s River, family reunions, and any time spent with family always made her happy.

She had a flair for anything creative from floral design to home décor, to giving the best haircuts and up-do’s. She loved birthday lunches with siblings, nieces and friends. She always enjoyed girls’ weekends at the cabin.

Marilyn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived a life full of service and compassion. She had a testimony of her Savior and his love for her. She always felt the veil was thin and talked often to her mom and daddy.

That brought her great comfort. She was a wonderful and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to babysit her grandkids and they all have a special place for her in their heart.

Her passing is a great loss to family and friends. We will miss her dearly. Marilyn was married to Kent Pantone for seven years and together they had three children.

She later married Roland Priest and together they had a son. She is survived by her four children, Tony (Sabrina) Pantone, Angie (Paul) Bellus, Jennie (Bill) Price, Matt (Michelle) Priest, 17 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters; Jean Godfrey (Allen), Shirley Hart (Darrell) and Anita Hurst (Roger).

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Ronald Bingham and Diane Bingham, and one grandchild, Troy Bellus. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
