Obituary for Marilyn Edwards Warden Our loving wife, mother & grandmother passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side January 06, 2019. She was met at heavens gates by her parents Thomas & Marion Edwards, brother Robert, daughter Vonna & son Larry. Those mourning her loss include her husband of 65 years Jim, daughter Patricia (Jay) Jones, grandchildren Shawn McClure, Gregory (Megan) Shorts, Jamie (Bryan) Brotemarkle as well as 9 great grandchildren, Meghan, Justin, Cheyenne, Hunter, Jacob, Austin, Jalynn, Hailey & Bryan.

Marilyn was born December 15, 1932 in Manchester, NH. She moved to Mesa in 1945 where she graduated from Mesa High School in 1950. She was active in choral groups & musical programs at church most of her life.

She was employed by the City of Mesa for 30 years & named employee of the year in 1972. Marilyn retired in 1989. A farewell celebration will be held at First United Methodist Church, 15 E 1st Ave Mesa at 10:00 AM Saturday January 12, 2019 with interment at City of Mesa Cemetery.
