Marilynn Gulotta May 7, 1934 – December 23, 2018 Marilynn J. Gulotta, 84, of Rockford, passed away at 10:19PM on December 23, 2018 in her home with her loving husband at her side after an extended illness. She was born on May 7, 1934 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Frank and Natalie Wagner. She lived 78 years in Rockford coming from Iowa.

Marilynn graduated from Rockford West High School, class of 1952. Marilynn married Joseph A. Gulotta in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Rockford on September 12, 1959. She was employed as a Security Advisor, first by Horn Blower & Weeks and then by Baird for 39 years.

She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Special thank you to the staff at OSF Hospice and especially Dr. Trent Barnhardt, nurses Michelle Benson RN, Julie Erickson RN and Tameeka Benson CNA and Deacon Peter Addotta. She is survived by her husband Joseph, nephew Michael (Mary Ann) Abate, nieces Victoria (Larry) Akerman, Anna (Jim) Reader and many other nieces, nephews, cousins & her great friends and neighbors.

She was predeceased by her brother & sister in law Jon P. (Marueen) Wagner. Funeral mass will be at 11AM on Friday, December 28, 2018 with Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation will be from 9AM until service time in the church.

Inurnment will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Gasparini & Oliveri Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 707 Marchesano Dr. Condolences to: www. gasparinioliverifuneral.net.
