Marion Lee Browder October 13, 1942 – December 23, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences Marion Lee “Butch” Browder, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at his home in Lompoc, California. Marion was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on October 13, 1942, to Charlie and Mary Browder. He was a graduate of Male High School in Louisville, Kentucky.

He served in the U. S. Air Force and then worked as a range operations specialist with the US Department of Defense for 40 years. Marion is survived by his sister Shelia Jordan and his brother-in-law Ray McCarthy and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joy in 2015, and sisters Janis and Delania.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at noon at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary followed by a funeral service at 1 pm directed by Rev. Paul Hall. A graveside service will be held following the service at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery, 600 South C Street, Lompoc, California.
