OBITUARY Marjorie K. Blackwood November 17, 1928 – December 30, 2018 Marjorie Louise Blackwood (nee Kirkland) a native of Ruston, La. and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Dec 30, 2018 at 4:00 am at the age of 90. She graduated from Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD.

Marjorie was a very accomplished classical pianist. She was preceded in death by her husband Alan, daughter Barbara, son Keith, brothers Bill and Ralph and sister Gerry. She is survived by son Kirk, daughter-in-law Sally, granddaughter Cara and husband Chris, grandson Scott and wife Diana, great-grandson David.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 9:30 am until service beginning at 10 am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
