Madison-Marjorie (Bruns) Reinke, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at The Good Samaritan in Lodi, WI. She was born in Madison, WI on February 18, 1924, the daughter of Clarence and Harriet (McTaggart) Bruns. Marjorie married Russell Reinke in 1942.

She was a lifelong member of Lakeview Lutheran Church in Madison. Marjorie worked for her father’s Volkswagen dealership until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family at the lake.

She loved scrapbooking, putting puzzles together and watching the Packers but she found the most enjoyment spending time with her daughter and family. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Linda (J. Michael) Baker; grandchildren, Robert (Vicki) Baker, Bart (Annisa) Baker and Michael (Kristy) Baker; sister, Mary (Bob) Peterson; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Bruns and Vilma Reinke; brother-in-law, Noal Rossow; great grandchildren, Trisha, Tiffany, Brooke, Sasha, Taylor, Bryce, Anna and Kylie; great-great grandchildren, Dakota, Justine and Jaden; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Russell; parents; infant son; siblings, Kendall, Robert and John Bruns, Janice Zimmerman, Betty Dollard, Carol Weber, Claire Rossow and Lucy Bruns. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison with Pastor Dean Kirst presiding. A memorial gathering will be held from 10am until the time of service.

The family extends their appreciation to Agrace Hospice and The Good Samaritan for their wonderful care during this time. Marjorie’s kind and loving ways and great sense of humor will be greatly missed. We know she will be looking down from heaven and smiling at us.
