FISHERS – Marjorie P. (Trimnell) Brammer, age 80, of Fishers, formerly of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was born at the family home in Bartholomew County on July 23, 1938 to Clarence and Dolores (Holbrook) Trimnell. Marjorie was one of 13 children.

Marjorie participated in 4-H, was selected to Girl’s State, was prom queen and graduated from Knightstown High School in 1956. She worked at American United Life Insurance Company for 25 years, retiring in 2001. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering through her church, Bradley United Methodist Church, Hancock County Mental Health, and Hope House.

She was awarded Hancock County’s volunteer of the year award, a recognition she well deserved as she was always doing for others. Marjorie enjoyed knitting and sewing, and she took flowers she picked from her beautiful flower garden to her friends and shut-ins. Her faith remained strong even as Alzheimer’s disease took its toll, as she would pray for those “on her list” in the church bulletin and would also send notes of encouragement for as long as she could.

Marge enjoyed traveling to various countries, and her many trips to Montana and Colorado to visit family where she could breathe in mountain air and spectacular vistas. Marjorie is survived by her children, Terry (Linda) Brammer, Brenda Carrasquillo, Karen Wilson, and Carol (Todd) Eberwine; 8 grandchildren, Jesse (Katy), Joshua (Renee), Natalie (Nathan), Katie (Tim), Logan (Logan), Tyler Merle, Eric (Brittney), and Scott Wilson; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Verla) Trimnell of Knightstown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 9 half-brothers; half-sister; and sister, Nancy Trimnell Carter.

A gathering will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Bradley United Methodist Church, 210 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with a gathering one hour prior at the church. Rev.

David Scifres will be officiating. Friends may share a memory or a condolence at www. erleweinmortuary.com.
