Mark Franklin Schall, 59, of Germantown was called home to be with Jesus on Monday, June 25, 2018. He was born on November 3, 1958 to the late Daniel and Vera (nee Kurtz) Schall in Hartford, WI. Mark attended Special Education classes in West Bend and Kewaskum in the earlier years of his life.
In 1979 – 2017 he attended the Threshold Inc. starting with a focus on work/employment opportunities and transitioning to Adult Day Services in 1988. Mark was involved in Special Olympics, competing in Bowling, Track, and Softball Throw. He was the first client at the Threshold to work as a paper carrier for the Booster beginning in 1999 and retired in 2013.
Mark enjoyed watching wrestling while rocking in his favorite rocking chair, loved all kinds of music, especially polkas, and loved to dance. Most of all, Mark loved to be a jokester and teasing his family and peers. He had a great sense of humor and was always in a happy mood.
His smile would light up the room. Mark will sadly be missed by all who knew him. Those Mark leaves behind to cherish his memory include his four sisters and two brothers, Patricia (Don Martin) Reimann, Charlotte (Henry) Schall Krokosky, Michael (Christine) Schall, Pamela (Larry) Weiss, Dawn (Jim) Schall-Goad, and Daniel (Lori Casey) Schall Jr.; nieces and nephews, Jason (Missi) Schall, Kevin (Julie) Schall, Stacy (Ben) Seaquist, Katie Schall, Patti (Joel) Kempfert, Neal Krokosky, Alyson Krokosky, Robb (Erin) Goad, and Nick (Becky) Goad; many grandnephews and grandnieces; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Reimann. A funeral service in remembrance of Mark will be held on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 623 Congress St., Newburg.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Threshold Inc. is appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the people that gave Mark a blessed and fulfilled life.
