Obituary for Marlene Atchison Marlene Atchison, age 80, of Spring Lake passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born July 11, 1937 in Grand Rapids to Claude and Eleanor (Gruzinski) Bursley. Marlene was a member of St. Patrick -St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a Third Order Franciscan.

Faith and family were a very important part of Marlene’s life and she will be missed by all those who loved her. She is survived by two daughters, Lori (Rory) MacLeod of Grand Haven, Alicia (Vincent) Rodriguez of Lake Worth, FL; two sons, Bruce (Susan Banker) Moorman of Boca Raton, Fl, Craig (Elaine) Moorman of Lake City, FL; Thirteen grandchildren: Andrew (Rachel) MacLeod, Evan, William, Megan, and Brendan MacLeod, Cassidy, Donald, and Hailey Moorman, Amber Luecke, Brandy (Michael) Norman, Joseph Rodriguez, Erica (Canaan) Hagin, Sarah Rodriguez; six great-grandchildren; brother, Randall (Dorothy) Bursley; brother-in-law, Edward (Phyllis) Dault; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Dault.

A MEMORIAL MASS will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Charles Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at The VanZantwick Chapel (620 Washington Ave) with a rosary at 7:30 PM. Memorial contributions in memory of Marlene may be given to the St. Patrick-St. Anthony Haiti Fund or EWTN Global Catholic Network.
