Marlene’s Obituary Marlene Esther (Wright) Osterhoudt passed away, Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Columbus Community Hospital, Columbus, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the Bible Baptist Church in Columbus. Visitation is 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday all at the church.

Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus. Marlene was born October 27, 1957, in Columbus, to Merlin and Clarice (Pegors) Wright and attended Columbus public schools where she graduated in 1976. She married Dennis Osterhoudt on June 26, 1977, at Bible Baptist Church.

Together they were blessed with five (5) children, four (4) of whom all reside in Columbus: Karen (Aaron) Tucker; Joy (Ron) Anderson; Robert (Pamela Keyes) Osterhoudt; and Jeanie (Ryan) Anderson. Marlene loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Bible Baptist Church. She taught grades 7 – 12 Math at the Bible Baptist Christian School for over 25 years, and was loved by her students.

Marlene enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her Family, especially her Grandchildren.
