Marlin R. Dowhower, 84, of Londonderry Township, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born March 19, 1934 in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Earl P. and Eva M. (Stoudt) Dowhower. He attended Fuhrman’s Elementary School and Hershey High School and was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

An inspector for TRW from 1956 – 1986 and Chromalloy from 1986 – 1996, he was also a mason in the construction industry. Marlin was a member of Geyer’s United Methodist Church, Middletown and a life member of V. F. W Post #5667. Surviving are his wife of 50 years Brenda (Hold) Dowhower; children Linda M., wife of Harold Easter, Wayne B., husband of Brenda Cox, Bruce R., husband of Louise Cox, Craig M., husband of Cheryl Cox, Daniel L. Dowhower and Bradley S., husband of Denise Dowhower; and six grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Hershey Chapter #48, 2045G Raleigh Road, Hummelstown, PA 17036.
