Marshall “Babe” Richardson Sr., 89 returned to his heavenly home on July 5, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson Disease. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Marshall was born to the late Leo & Callie Richardson Sr. on April 29, 1929 in Jackson, AL.

He attended Lily Valley School. He confessed Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Later he joined New St. Matthew Baptist Church. He is proceeded in death by his parents, two sons Kenthical Richardson & Freddie Lee Richardson, three granddaughters Kenitha Richardson, Cyinola Richardson and Catrese Richardson, one brother Leo Richardson Jr. and two sisters Alberta Council & Arelia Craig. Marshall leaves to cherish his precious memories; a loving & devoted wife of 53 years: Freddie Mae Richardson, Jackson AL.

Four sons: James Richardson, Garfield Heights, OH, Eddie (Paulett) Richardson of New Bern, NC, Ricky (Callie) House & Marshall Richardson Jr. both of Jackson, AL. Three daughters: Joann Montgomery of Cleveland, OH, LaTonya (John) Peoples of Jackson, AL, & LaKrisa (John) Hunt of Tuscaloosa, AL. Five stepchildren: Pamela Jones of Tuscaloosa, AL, Terry Jones of Jackson, AL, Timothy (Ronda) Jones of Hinesville, GA, Reginald (Tracey) Jones of Mobile, AL & Fredrick Jones of Limon, CO.

One brother Frank (Shirley) Richardson of Jackson, AL, Four sisters: Lucille Davis of Detroit, MI, Maybelle McClain of Mobile, AL, Hattie Scott & Joyce Cassell both of Pittsburg, PA. Thirty– five grandchildren, thirty– seven great grandchildren and seven great– great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
