Obituary for Marta M. Rusznyak Marta M. Rusznyak, age 88, of Dublin passed away on April 11, 2018. Preceded in death by her dear husband, Tibor, and daughter, Eva Marta. Adopted mother of Shaun and Terry and grandmother to Ashley, Madelyn and Hannah.

Survived by many friends. Marta did not walk through life, she ran, literally. A story teller extraordinaire and clever poet, she loved to get her hands dirty both in the garden and in the kitchen.

Hungarian cuisine was her specialty. She loved to host parties and took pride in the presentation of her meals. She was genuinely interested in the lives of those around her, asking many questions and offering many excellent insights.

Her fierce independence and confidence in her own convictions helped her overcome many difficulties. She escaped 1956 Hungary by walking through the “schnee” to Austria, was married in Germany and immigrated to the US in 1962. She loved America and was proud of her citizenship.

We are thankful to God for putting her in our lives. A Funeral service to be held at 10:30 am on April 16, 2018 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Road South, Powell, OH. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in her memory.
