Martha Harbin, age 74, of Gainesville, GA passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends. Martha was born December 5th, 1944 to the late Elmer Jim and Nettie May Lee. Martha had been a resident of Barrow County for most of her life.

She was a store manager for Golden Pantry until retiring due to injury. She loved to cook, baking cakes and gardening, and sewing. Martha was preceded in death by her sons Timmy and Terry Harbin; and brother Dock – Floyd F Lee.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Doug Payne; and granddaughter, Joni Payne, of Gainesville; sisters, Dorothy Ledbetter and Beatrice Meeks; brother, Elmer Joe Lee; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Martha (aka Maw) was loved very much by many, including her special caregivers, Crystal Durham, and her precious babies, Khole and Madison; and Angie Reed and Michele Smith. The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
