Martha “Jeanie” Smith McGuire, 78, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Allen County War Memorial Hospital and Scotscraft and member of Scottsville Church of Christ. She was a daughter of the late Corbett Chester Smith and Dorothy Wallace Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Wayne McGuire, Scottsville, KY; 1 son: Bro. Stephen McGuire and wife, Nancy, Scottsville, KY; 1 daughter: Laura Beth McGuire, Scottsville, KY; 4 grandchildren: Michael McGuire and wife, Toni; Matthew McGuire and wife, Jeron; Dakota Stratton and husband, Michael Lee and Bailey Gann and fiance’, Nathan Murley; 9 great grandchildren; 1 nephew: Jerry Cline, Scottsville, KY and 1 great nephew: Dr. Erik Cline, Garland, ME. She was preceded in death by an infant son: Timothy Ewell McGuire; a grandson: James Ewell McGuire; 1 sister: Marjorie Smith Cline and 1 brother: Corbit (Buddy) Smith.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mitchell Covington officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.
