Noel C. Oliver, 85, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a self-employed carpenter and dozier operator and a man who loved his mules. He was a member of Bays Fork Baptist Church and Oakland Masonic Lodge #563 F & A M for 50 years.

He was a son of the late Homer Oliver and Velta Willoughby Oliver. He is survived by his wife of 63 years: Martha Oliver, Scottsville, KY; 1 son: Garry Oliver and wife, Anna, Alvaton, KY; 2 granddaughters: Courtney Hawkins and husband, Jason, and Miranda Smith and husband, Daniel; 2 great granddaughters: Roslyn Smith and Katie Smith and Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Charles Edwin Oliver and Lennis Eudean Oliver.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kimble Willoughby officiating and burial in Bays Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday and after 7:00 am Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
