Cecil B. “Buddy” Borders, Jr., 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at his residence. He was a former employee of Pet Milk Company, retired employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department, former member of the Aviation Bird Club of Tennessee and attended Red Hill General Church. He was a son of the late Cecil Bud Borders, Sr. and Mary Margaret Bean Borders and husband of the late Janice Gail Hamilton Borders.

He is survived by 1 son: Shannon Borders, Scottsville, KY; 3 daughters: Debbie Woods and husband, Jerry and Shelia Ann Borders Miller, all of Scottsville, KY; Tiny Gay Borders Salinas, Nashville, TN; 1 brother: Jerry Wayne Borders and wife, Sabrina, Bowling Green, KY; 1 sister: JoAnn Green and husband, William, Westmoreland, TN; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant brother: Theodore Borders. Memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.

Lynn Herrington officiating and entombment at a later date in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary, P. O. Box 387, Irvington, KY 40146 or the charity of your choice.
