Pratt, KS— Marvin Clyde Patrick, 83, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019 in Pratt. He was born January 5, 1936 in Pratt, the son of Herman Miller and Hazel Effie (Greene) Patrick. On July 20, 1956, he married Mary Ellen (Prunty) Patrick in Pratt.

She preceded him in death on October 2, 2012. Marvin worked for the Pratt Parks Department for more than 30 years. He enjoyed carpentry work and doing construction, 50’s country music, movies with John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, old cars and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, Ronald (Ana) Patrick of Newton; daughters, Diane (Kurt) Dutoit of Pratt and Carol Patrick of Hays; brother, Darrel Patrick of Pratt; grandchildren, Michelle Ward, Keeli (Brad) Starks, Stephanie Ward, Krae (Kinsey) Dutoit, Kristina Patrick, Joshua Patrick and Arturo Silva; and 14 great grandchildren with another on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Patrick. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, KS, 67124.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt with John Hamm presiding. Memorials may be made to Pratt Parks Department in care of the mortuary.
