Obituary Marvin D. Vanderberg, 82, of Gallipolis passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at his residence. Born on May 20, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, Marvin was the son of the late Ross and Juanita Brown Vanderberg. He was a retired steel worker, railroad worker, and insurance salesman.

On April 27, 2002, Marvin married Nancy Wright Vanderberg, who survives him in Gallipolis. Marvin was a member of First Baptist Church, where he served as head usher. He was a U.S. Navy and Korean War veteran.
