Marvin Victor Bohl, 88, of Hermann, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge, surrounded by his family. Marvin was born in Pershing, Missouri on May 31, 1930, a son of the late Victor & Olive (Von Behren) Bohl. He was united in marriage to Lucy Mae Heady on July 31, 1954, they were married at Drake, Missouri.

Marvin was an active member of Swiss Evangelical Reformed Church at Swiss, and he was a life-long member of the VFW Post 4182 of Hermann. Marvin proudly served his country in the US Army and US Air Force during the Korean War in Korea in 1952-1953. In 2010, he went on the honor flight to Washington D.C. Marvin was the maintenance foreman for Blanke Plastics in Hermann, until his retirement.

He was a jack of all trades, and could do just about anything. He enjoyed doing wood working and he farmed all of his life. Marvin is survived by his wife Lucy Bohl, of the home; a daughter, Cheryl Bohl, of Owensville; his grandsons, Jonathan Bohl & wife Faith, of Gerald; and Joshua Oliver-Bohl, of Owensville; by a brother, Daniel Bohl, of Hermann; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Bohl, of Rosebud; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter in childhood, Deborah Lynn Bohl, two brothers, David & Kenneth Bohl, and one sister-in-law, Viola Bohl. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Swiss Evangelical Reformed Church, with Rev.

Leon Pankuk officiating. Burial will be at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann, with full military honors. Memorials may be given to Swiss Evangelical Cemetery or Hermann VFW.
