Obituary for Mrs. Mary A. “Mickie” Broadus Mrs. Mary A. Broadus 74, of the Lily Orchard Community passed away on Wednesday April 18,2018. Mrs. Broadus was born in Pascagoula on May 24,1943. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a very good cook, enjoyed reading, puzzles, flowers and plants. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters.

She is survived by her husband Lamar Broadus, her children Jason (Linda) Broadus, Alisha (Richard) Martin, her grandchildren Kaila and Trey Martin all from the Lily Orchard Community. She is also survived by her sisters Cathy (Joe) Salisbury, Debra Wyrick, Rosemary Hood, and Ann Byron, her brothers Jimmy Hester, Joseph (Jeannie) Hester, Jerry (Susan) Hester, and Charles Ray (Libby) Hester, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation for Mrs. Broadus will be Saturday April 21,2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Holder-Wells/ Coastal Funeral Home 12800 Hwy 613 Moss Point, MS.

The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Chris Rouse officiating. Burial will follow in the Broadus Family cemetery.
