58, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, October 09, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of David P. Maxcy. Born in Providence, Mary was a daughter of the late Sebastian “Yano” and Mary A. (Lancia) Nevola.

Mrs. Maxcy worked in the jewelry industry as a model maker and was an accomplished artist. She held a Bachelor’s Degree from RI College and also attended RISD. Besides her husband, she is survived by her three cherished daughters, Victoria R. Maxcy, Angelica C. Maxcy, and Alexandra L. Maxcy, all of Cranston.

Mary was the devoted grandmother of Natalia R. Garcia-Maxcy and expecting another granddaughter in a couple of months. She was the dear sister of Peter A. Nevola, Paul T. Nevola, Charles J. “Chuck” Nevola, all of Cranston, and Elizabeth A. “Liz” Nevola of Providence. Her funeral will be held on Saturday from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston at 10 a.m. followed by a service in Cranston Christian Fellowship, Scituate Avenue at 11 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be private.
