POLAND – An hour of calling will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, following immediately by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, celebrated by Pastor Rick Enlow for Mary Ann Klapac, 79, who passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by those she loved on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. Mary was born February 11, 1940 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary Melko. She worked as a nurse’s aide for Camelot Arms and also was a homemaker.

Mary enjoyed baking, camping, playing bingo and board games, puzzles, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her beloved husband, Andrew S. Klapac, whom she married October 4, 1969, her children Andrew J. (Kimberly) Klapac and Elizabeth Ann (Norman Tharp) Klapac, her grandchildren, Victoria Kristine, Andrew Garret, and Evan Christopher Klapac. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family has entrusted Mary to the care of the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home, where they will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, and again on Wednesday. Interment will take place at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
