OBITUARY Mary Azzarella May 18, 1924 – October 14, 2018 Mary Azzarella, 94, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus in Lakewood. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Bergenfield before moving to Toms River 20 years ago. She was a gifted seamstress, working in New York City for many years and a longtime member of The International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed by them. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1990 and her parents Gaetano and Madalina Valanzola. Surviving are her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until the prayer service at 11:30 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River, NJ 08753. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
