Mary B. Wallace April 16, 1936 – December 24, 2018 Mary B. Wallace, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at the age of 82 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis after a very brief illness. Born April 16, 1936 in Elwood, IN to the late John W. and Gladys M. (Long) Connors, she moved to Lafayette in 1953. She graduated from Klondike High School in 1954 and attended Purdue University.

She married Charles F. Wallace on June 13, 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1998. In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Wallace worked alongside her brother, Kenneth, at Ken Connors Builders. She enjoyed hosting and preparing meals for her family, was a Purdue basketball fan and loved the time spent with her family.

Surviving are her children Lisa E. Milakis (husband Mark) of Saint Charles, MO, Charles E. Wallace of Lafayette, IN. Cherished grandmother of Zachary J. Reed, Caleb A. Reed, Christian C. (wife Marissa) Reed and Alexandra E. Milakis. She is also survived by brothers, John R. Connors, Bernard A. Connors, Stephen B. Connors; sisters, Beverly J. Waters, Rebecca S. Stanley.

Mary is also preceded in death by her brothers, William E. Connors, Donald B. Connors, Kenneth B. Connors; sister, Elizabeth J. Call. Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN 47909 with Fr. Eric Underwood officiating.

Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery, 2581 Schuyler Avenue, Lafayette, IN 47905. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the United Mitchondrial Disease Foundation.
