Mary Brian Twyford McFarland, was born in Wayne County, September 15, 1929 the daughter of the late William Bryan and Mary Gladys Bertram Twyford. She departed this life, Monday, July 2, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, reaching an age of 88 years. On April 5, 1947 she united in marriage with Melvin McFarland who passed away July 18, 2010.

Her grandson, Chris McFarland and her brother, William Fredrick Twyford precedes her in death.

Mary Brian was the owner and operator of Mary Brian’s Beauty Shop and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church.
