Gladys’ Obituary Gladys Tucker was born July 14, 1933 and departed this life Friday, February 8, 2019 reaching the age of 85 years. She was the last child of the late Sherman and Myrtie (Hammond) ton. She married Donald Tucker and to this union 8 children were born.

She is survived by: 3 Sons, Bruce, William and Vernon Tucker; 3 Daughters, Linda Tucker, Walline Stradtman and Arlene Tucker; 8 grandchildren, Cody Lewis, Dustin Tucker, Felicia Tucker, Christopher Stradtman, Autumn Tucker Raynes, Austin Tucker, Trenton Tucker and Dawson Tieman; 6 Great Grandchildren, Kadence and Keslie Latham, Zaydon Stradtman, Leighton Tucker, and River & Ridge Raynes; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband Donald Tucker; 2 sons, Curtis ton and Ted Wayne Tucker; 1 daughter, Darlene Tucker; 5 brothers, Alvin, Dewey, Jim, Willy, and Obie ton; 3 sisters, Gertrude Hammond, Evalee Riddle and Martha Godsey. She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Gladys accepted Christ as a young girl. Those of her family will always remember that she never said goodbye always, “So long”. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10, 2019 after 12:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:30 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Clay Hill Cemetery. The Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home of Monticello in charge of arrangements.
